Withania Complex contains Withania traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine as a calmative and nervine and to relieve sleeplessness. In addition, Korean Ginseng and Withania are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as adaptogens to help the body adapt to stress.

    – as a calmative and nervine
    – to relieve sleeplessness
    – to support mental recall
  • Skullcap is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine:
    – as a body and nerve tonic
    – to relieve restlessness
  • Korean Ginseng and Withania are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as adaptogens to help the body adapt to stress
  • Licorice is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support healthy adrenal gland function

Dose & Administration

Adults: Take 1 tablet 3 to 6 times daily.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains:
Withania somnifera (Withania) extract . 95mg
derived from root dry 950mg
Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) extract 62.5mg
derived from root dry 750mg
Scutellaria lateriflora (Skullcap) extract 940microlitre
derived from herb dry 470mg
Panax ginseng (Korean Ginseng) extract 20mg
derived from min. root dry 100mg
stand. to contain ginsenosides Rg1, Re, Rb1, Rb2, Rc, Rd 1.68mg

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, croscarmellose sodium, glucose monohydrate, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.

  • NO ADDED: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours.
  • Vegan friendly.

Caution & Contraindications

• Do not use if pregnant or likely to become pregnant.
• Contraindicated in patients taking phenelzine.
• Due to Licorice: caution is advised in patients receiving prednisolone by injection, in those taking albendazole and in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives; contraindicated in hypertension, oedema and in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics.
• Caution is advised in patients taking central nervous system stimulants, insulin of oral hypoglycaemic drugs, nifedipine and warfarin.
• Korean Ginseng is best not used during acute infections.
• Monitor patients taking thyroxine.
• Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
